“Rocks of the Oki Islands” Special Museum Tour for National Geology Day, Oki Islands Geopark Museum

For Geology Day in Japan, the geopark will be conducting a special museum tour about the rocks and geology of the Oki Islands on May 10. 

Tour Contents 
A geologist of Oki Islands Geopark Management Bureau will delve into the different kinds of rocks found on the Oki Islands in 30-minute intervals. Visitors are encouraged to ask questions. They will also be able to view rocks under a petrographic microscope.

The entrance fee for Oki Islands Geopark Museum is required.
Adult (16 years and up): JPY 500, Child (7–15 years): JPY 250
(Free for children who are residents of Okinoshima Town)
