“The Small, Strange World Below Your Feet” Travelling Exhibit to be Held on the Four Oki Islands
The temporary traveling exhibit “The Small, Strange World Below Your Feet” will be held at facilities related to the geopark on each of the four Oki Islands.
This special exhibit takes a look at a strange, mysterious part of the natural world that is easy to miss if you don’t look carefully despite how close it is to our daily lives. Also, this exhibit conveys not just the splendor of the natural world, but also a tremendous threat that is encroaching on the environment so close to us.
At each venue, a guided tour event with curator Fukaya (NPO Shizen Mura) will be held, so please be sure to stop by!
Entry to each venue is free.
