【Event Ended】Beach Clean at Kasuga-no-ura Beach, Fuse
This event has already ended.
Rugosa rose is a relative of the rose family that often grows in cold places, such as Hokkaido.
Once, many of them used to grow on the coast of the Oki Islands. However, due to human interference and changes in the environment, the specimens on Kasuga-no-ura Beach in the Fuse area are believed to be the last wild-grown ones these days.
Our conservation efforts of the rugosa rose started from our strong belief that we cannot allow such a precious species to die out.
As a continuation of the March 9 Rugosa Rose Chat, we will be holding a beach clean at Kasuga-no-ura Beach, Fuse.
Anyone can participate! Please be sure to come.
